Laurie Dunne
Everyone deserves to thrive—not just survive—financially. I combine emotional clarity with the practical power of YNAB to help you align your spending with your goals and values. My step-by-step approach brings structure, insight, and support so every financial decision moves you closer to the life you truly want.
My Background
I’m a Certified Money Coach, Daily Money Manager, and YNAB superfan based in Portland, Oregon. I discovered YNAB while navigating my own financial journey as a single mom and small business owner—it changed everything. With a background in caregiving, coaching, and financial management, I now help others transform overwhelm into clarity. I specialize in working with women in transition, seniors, and anyone ready to take control of their money. I bring both heart and strategy to the table, empowering clients to break old patterns, track their finances with ease, and build a sustainable, values-aligned financial life.
Why Work with Me
Money is emotional—and that’s where I come in. I provide a judgment-free space to explore your habits and rewrite your financial story, one aligned step at a time. Whether you're brand new to YNAB or have tried and struggled, I meet you where you are with compassion, humor, and hands-on support. Together, we’ll simplify your finances, build a spending plan that reflects your real life, and create momentum toward your goals. If you’re ready to stop avoiding your money and start feeling confident with it, I’m here to help you figure it all out—because finances are figureoutable!
Why I Coach
I coach because I’ve lived it. As a single mom and small business owner, I know the stress, shame, and confusion that can come with money. I also know the freedom that comes from understanding your finances and aligning them with your values. Discovering YNAB transformed my life. Now, I help others do the same. Coaching gives me the chance to support people as they untangle their money habits, build new better ones, and gain the confidence to take control of their financial future. It’s powerful, personal work—and I’m honored to do it.
